Let there be laundry.

Something this poor child ate does NOT AGREE with his body. If I have a third night in a row of changing the boy, the bed, and the lovies, I may need wine. 

I'm already remiss...

...but that's ok, because I'm not terribly public with this blog yet. Here's the next installment of not-so-Blurry-at-the-moment-Boy discovering his new favorite toy car/chair. 

Let There Be Blurry Boy!!!

So here he is, the star of our show! Blurry Boy showed up in our world a little while back, with all the flair and drama one would expect of my child. He's not so much blurry at the moment, more groggy from a nearly 3 hour long nap. I guess that's what happens when you wake up a toddler the day before at 4:30am to take his daddy to the airport... Much coffee was consumed in the surviving of that drive.

An awkward beginning, but it's better than none at all.

So, I started a blog. I've been trying for three months to start a blog. It's been going poorly, because I don't know where to begin, and I don't want the beginning to be terrible. So today, whilst showering (a much bigger deal that you'd think, since Blurry Boy's a toddler), it occurred to me- just blather on a bit for the first post. Maybe it'll take the pressure off. And, worst case scenario, I can always look back upon my improvement in talking points.

Hi. I'm here. I'm gonna do this thing. But I'm gonna do this thing slowly so that I don't psych myself out and dive under a rock in two minutes after I hit publish.

Tomorrow (or the next day, let's be quite honest) I will start telling you stories. For now, I just want to say hello.
