Grocery Store Lesson #1

So today, Blurry Boy experienced the idea of proving himself. "Mommy, I a good listener!" "Okay. Now prove it by staying in the car-cart like I told you to." "I wanna get out of the car cart!" "No. Be a good listener." Blurry Boy was not a fan.

He's been asking me to snuggle at bedtime. He's also been asking me to "lay down in big bed?" We've never been co-sleepers, so it's amusing that this is the bedtime delay tactic he's chosen. Sometimes I snuggle. Sometimes I tell him to just stinkin' go to sleep so that I can pass out already. But those are some great occasional snuggles.

Harrumph.

"Just write something on the page. If the page isn't blank, you won't be afraid of it!"

"Don't let ______ be an excuse. Just write!"

What if it's not the blank that's feared? What if it's the unknown destination that is the problem?

Restarting. I do it a lot. Let's do it again.
